     Somewhere in my travels I came across a distinction between "material" and "spiritual" that I thought was rather apt: material, it contended, is that which we need to sustain life while spiritual is that which makes life worth sustaining. That places circles among things spiritual since they contribute so much to enjoyment of life (and not only in form of wheels) as witness the following two examples from the realm of Art:

     "How come only two examples?" asks Prickles, "We have bazillions of circles we could use to illustrate the point." Modesty becomes an Artist - two are sufficient. Besides, it's past our bedtime. "Oh," she says.
